Swatch Nines returns to Schilthron for round three
A new chapter of progression and creativity awaits.
This spring the slopes of Schilthorn, Switzerland will once again play host to Swatch Nines. It’s the third installment for the trailblazing event series at this spectacular Alpine location, and the 17th year that The Nines will bring its unique vision of snowboarding to life.
After the record-breaking airs of last year’s Perfect Hip, the 2025 Swatch Nines setup returns to more familiar territory with a venue centered around a progression-ready Big Air jump. But in typical Nines fashion, this setup will be anything but conventional, with a wide array of additional features and unique concepts to challenge riders’ imaginations and abilities.
Staying true to the ethos of “for riders by riders,” much of the setup was designed during the Creators Cabin event in November 2024, where riders like Nico Vuignier (SKI, SUI), Brooke D’Hondt (SNB, CAN), Fridtjof Tischendorf (SNB, NOR) and Rell Harwood (SKI, USA) gathered to pool their ideas. Creative mastermind Sämi Ortlieb (SKI, SUI) has also taken on a lead role in designing this year’s venue, which promises to be as playful as it is progressive.

PUBLIC DAY: EXPERIENCE THE 2025 SWATCH NINES IN PERSON!
As always, the weeklong session will conclude with a Public Day on Saturday, April 12, when the general public is invited to come and watch the riders of Swatch Nines in action. Admission is free with a Schilthorn ski pass.
