Feast your eyes on this year’s awe-inspiring Nines venue.

There’s only a few days left until Swatch Nines returns to the slopes of Schilthorn, Switzerland. From 7–12 April 2025, a stacked crew of the world’s most talented snowsports athletes will descend on this iconic location in the heart of the Swiss Alps for a weeklong session that promises to push the limits of imagination and creativity.

HERE'S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SWATCH NINES 2025 SNOW:

DATES: 7–12 April 2025

PUBLIC DAY: Saturday, April 12

LOCATION: Schilthorn, Switzerland

THE 2025 SETUP: UNIQUE SHAPES AND ENDLESS OPTIONS

As always, this year’s event puts next-level snowpark design in the spotlight. At center stage is a progression-ready Big Air jump built to host the biggest, most cutting-edge tricks in skiing and snowboarding. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg: A flowing dreamscape of wildly imaginative features extends in all directions from this centerpiece, offering the invited riders the chance to think outside the box, explore new possibilities and redraw the creative boundaries of their sports.

Here are a few highlights:

  • The Insta360 “Full Pipe,” designed by Sämi Ortlieb (SKI, SUI) in cooperation with our new action camera sponsor, features a round tunnel and nearly unlimited trajectories to transfer to a down rail.

  • A multi-use “Double Wave” feature incorporates a halfpipe takeoff and a massive rainbow rail.

  • An eye-catching “Double Hip” in the bottom section designed by Nico Vuignier (SKI, SUI) sports a bowl in the middle and limitless transition options.

  • Two unique architectural pieces pay homage to a classic Helsinki skate spot, with an added touch of round mirrors—another Nico Vuignier brainchild.

  • A recreation of the infamous “Geilo Tube” from the pioneering Norwegian snowpark makes its debut in Swiss snow—a feature championed by Fridtjhof Tischendorf (SNB, NOR).

“I am really hyped on the setup this year. It’s truly designed by the riders more than ever. There are a lot of really talented people out there who deserve a chance to design features for Swatch Nines, and this year that was mainly Nico Vuignier and Sämi Ortlieb. These two have really given it everything they have, and they did an amazing job.” - Nico Zacek, Swatch Nines founder.
