Get an eyeful of this year's flowy, progressive Nines course at Schilthorn.

Swatch Nines 2025 is officially underway! An elite squad of the world’s best skiers and snowboarders has descended on Schilthorn, Switzerland for a weeklong session on a one-of-a-kind snowpark.

On Monday, 7 April the riders got their first looks at the course, and the feedback is unanimous: This is the best Swatch Nines setup yet!

“Everyone is telling me that this is the best Nines setup we’ve ever built. I’ve heard that five times this morning. That’s because this year we let the riders take control of the design process more than ever before, and it was the best decision we could have made. The stage is set for an incredible week here at Schilthorn!” - Nico Zacek, Swatch Nines founder

“When I came around the corner and saw the setup, I was speechless. You just have to take everything in. It looked just like the drawings that they put out for everyone to see, which is pretty insane because the drawings looked crazy. There’s rails, there’s hips, there’s jumps, there’s a little bit of everything. I feel like it flows really nicely. It’s a really playful park that they built this year.” - Cool Wakushima (SNB, NZL)

THE WEEK KICKS OFF WITH A BANG

The session on Monday was meant to be a warm-up day. But here at Swatch Nines, “warm-up” means a massive day of riding from sunrise to sunset, complete with triple corks, quad corks and every feature thoroughly shredded as riders like Lyon Farrell (SNB, NZL) took advantage of the pristine setup.

DIVE IN WITH PREVIEWS FROM RED BULL AND SWATCH

Event partners Swatch and Red Bull have both put out course previews exploring the vast possiblities of this setup. Join Nico Porteous and Cool Wakushima in the playful preview from Red Bull, then scope the teaser from Swatch.

Five days of nonstop sessioning on the setup will conclude with the Public Day on Saturday, 12 April when the general public is invited to watch the action in person. Admission is free with a Schilthorn ski pass, and the weather is looking great for the weekend. Don’t miss this chance to catch a ride up on the brand-new Schilthorn gondola see this spectacular setup in person!

“We are very happy to be hosting the Swatch Nines for the third time, and this shortly after the opening of our new cable car to the Schilthorn - Piz Gloria! The course looks absolutely amazing again and we are looking forward to a great week with exciting content from all the riders. We are sure that they will deliver a great show on the public day on Saturday!” - Christoph Egger, Schilthorn Director
